Australia Awards scholar Rajuna Singh from Nepal is studying a Master in Special Education at Flinders University. She looks forward to returning to her home country and sharing what she has learnt in Australia regarding technologies and mechanisms to help people with disability.

Rajuna says the support she has received from Australia Awards to make her time in Australia possible, including an electric wheelchair, has made her experience freedom.

“Things I never expected in my life I experienced through Australia Awards” she says.

Australia Awards empowers future leaders, including those with disability, to drive change and contribute to development. People with disability in South and West Asia are encouraged to apply for Australia Awards Scholarships and Short Courses. Support provided by Australia Awards is designed to provide the recipients with a fair and positive experience in Australia.
